Studio ONE
Studio ONE offers 100m2 of state-of-the-art digital recording and broadcast space suitable for live events and video production. We have a 6m x 3m permanently installed LED video wall for vibrant and engaging motion backdrops. Our 2-stage setup also allows for news desk style presentations and green screen filming.
The entire studio space is served by black wool serge drapes and an acoustically treated ceiling, making it a perfect environment for recording audio. Our installed LED lighting rig and lighting desk is included as standard to allow for flexible use of the space and fast set-up for the perfect visual environment. A near silent air conditioning system can be kept on while the cameras are rolling, helping to maintain a comfortable environment throughout your day.
We offer a number of standard set designs and a selection of furniture and dressings are available including seating, tables, lecterns, product displays and additional lighting. We can accommodate bespoke designs including custom furniture, carpets and painted backdrops by request.
The space is available as dry hire or we can support you with our cameras, creative and video production services. All studio bookings include exclusive use of the viewing gallery and our dressing rooms.

Podcast Suite
Midland Road Studios is perfectly equipped to add an extra level of professionalism to your podcasts. Whether you’re looking to produce a one-off episode or you want to create a long-term series, we can make sure that you stamp your brand’s personality onto your output.
We offer an acoustically treated podcast booth with multi-track digital audio recording as standard. If you want to output your podcast as video as well as audio then we can help you to create the perfect set in Studio ONE to record and edit your episodes.
The space is available for dry hire, or we can support you with creative production services including script editing, direction and editing. All bookings include exclusive use of the viewing gallery and our dressing rooms.

Broadcast Studio
Our broadcast suite is designed for delivering live broadcasts as a standalone service or as part of a wider hybrid event. This is the control centre from where your event producer and showcaller will deliver your broadcast to a global audience. The room’s modular design allows us to scale up to support multi-stream broadcasts that require large support teams.
Whether you’d like to bring your own AV technicians or take advantage of our homegrown team, the studio accommodates live connection to our facilities as well as the option to create a virtual environment for events with multiple remote callers.

Conference Suite
The conference suite allows you to host private boardroom style meetings, or presentations for up to 20pax on-site in an exclusive setting. The room is fully linked with our Broadcast Studio, meaning it can also be used as a second studio allowing for filmed boardroom meetings, panel discussions, conferences or theatre style presentations.
The space is perfectly suited for pre-planning an event or as a private meeting space for your executive team to use throughout your studio day.

Viewing Gallery
Designed for comfort, the viewing gallery is a multipurpose space that is designed to accommodate large numbers comfortably and practically. This includes work spaces, free tea and coffee making facilities, viewing screens and catering service.
We appreciate that filming may only be part of your team’s day, which is why all bookings include use of a large communal meeting space, as well as individual desks – all equipped with power and free dedicated wifi. A bean-to-cup coffee machine and instant-boil tap are available as well a fridge that’s fully stocked with water and soft drinks. During the broadcast your team may wish to watch what’s going on, taking advantage of our comfortable green room space with leather sofas and live-view monitors.
You will have access to our on-site café, fully equipped kitchen and private garden. We can even accommodate professional catering if you want add a touch of indulgence to your day.

Dressing Rooms
We appreciate that the idea of standing in front of a camera can be daunting – especially if it isn’t part of your day-to-day life. Our dressing rooms have been carefully designed to offer a calm, private space where you can get changed in comfort and prepare yourself in peace. The spacious dressing area is partitioned with heavy drape curtains and include a full-length mirror and clothes rail with hangers. A preparation space is tastefully decorated and includes a make-up desk and mirror, adjustable lighting, multiple power sockets and individually controlled air conditioning.
